Mateo Chiyangi is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with years of experience and a strong background in real estate finance, having contributed his skills and expertise to esteemed organizations such as Bank of Montreal and Colliers.

In his role at Bank of Montreal, Mateo navigated the intricate landscape of real estate finance, playing a pivotal role in facilitating financial solutions for clients. His responsibilities included loan origination, credit analysis, risk management and client relationship management.

Transitioning to Colliers, a global leader in real estate services, Mateo further honed his skills in real estate finance. As part of the colliers Debt Advisory team, Mateo collaborated with Debt Advisory colleagues and cross-functional teams to support clients in achieving their financial objectives in the dynamic real estate market.

Mateo brings a strategic and client-focused approach to real estate finance, leveraging his financial acumen to tailor solutions that align with the unique needs of clients. Mateo’s areas of focus include acquisition and construction financing in Multifamily and Industrial Assets as well as the CMHC MLI Select Program.

Mateo holds a Diploma in Business Marketing from Fanshawe College, providing him with a solid foundation in real estate finance. Beyond Mateo’s work as a real estate finance professional, he hosts a weekly podcast called “Efficiency in CRE” where he has conversations with real estate industry leaders with billions of dollars in assets under management.
